Does anybody know how I would go about making a CB 750 into a trike? I'm not talking about puting the motor in a Honda or something, I mean actually making it a trike.
I don't think it would be very hard except for the axle. At first I thought I could make it a solid axle set up pretty much like a normal 2 wheeler but thought again and realized I would probably need a differential. What do you guys think? I intend for it to be street legal. Any help is appreciated.

Well, I've seen factory made trikes like that. They probably have a diff though, I dunno. Do trikes have a diff? I heard something about it in a forum but I didn't think they did. I would still be able to license it as a motorcycle wouldn't I? I don't really see a problem with that but I could be wrong. The reason I thought it would need a differential is because, on the street, the tires would be working against eachother, not that I would want to use it off road(can you imagine? a 605lb motorcycle riding trails, lol), mainly when you turn.

You would have to make wider triple trees to fit the larger tire and the whole swingarm would have to be widened. It would be a complicated process probably.

Why would you need to get wider forks or anything? Like I said, this isn't for off road, just something different. I plan to use the original front wheel. And I will have to find a different swingarm probably, but I planned to just get a straight axle and stick it through. That simple, as far as plans go. Or maybe I don't understand what you mean.
