parting out?

I have seen to many people parting out a lot of bikes. It seems like everyday I see someone parting out another full running trike on ebay. I think every part I have bought off ebay is off a parted out bike. I don't think people should be doing this. What do you think?

i would not have a re-stored 85 350x, re-stored 85 bigred or a running 200x (next up for restoring) had it not been for the organ donors of terminal trikes.
recycled, re-newed, + make a few bucks also,,, thier ain't nothing imoral about parting out anything.

i agree, if people didnt part out trikes, i wouldnt have; an engine, a seat, a seat latch, grab bar, ..ect..ect....

I am not against parting out, but I'm just saying I have seen a lot lately. Like people parting out the "cleanest low-hour bike they have ever seen" or something. Why would anyone want to part out a trike like that.

oh okay,,, i see what your saying now wanta250r.
i know i could take a couple of my trikes and if i had a mind too, part them out and double my money i have into them ( i'd rather pee in my work boots then do that !)
my big red i'll never in my lifetime get out of it what i put into it but you can't go buy a new one either.
i reckon those folks need to make a living and they have choosen trikes, bikes, quads and what ever else to provide the market with parts for us select group ( that sound good don't it,,, we are a very select group )

Parting out is upto the owner, 100%.

I parted out my restored 87 200X (actually....I aint done yet heheh) and make a nice quick couple bucks AND got donor parts for my R From it.

People who are all against parting out....and then go buy parts off eBay are little hypocrits. They msut think those parts were definently jsut ordered from Honda or Yamaha or Whoever so they have a clear little conscience. Laff.
