are the cdi's on the ATC200ES, 200S and 200 M interchangeble????

the reason I asked, I have to replace the excitor coil in the stator. Honda wants $202 Canadian for the whole works (lighting and excitor coils) There is any aftermarket coil available , excitor coil only ,for $28.....except the book does not list it as for a 200ES, only 200m and 200 e, was hoping it would be compatible with the cdi on my es.

send me a picture of the 200es stator. I will compare it to a 200e and also see if the exciter coils inner change with other machines.

I know I should know this off the top of my head but it's been too many years since I had a 200es stator out.

and tried to attach it but it says it's too big a file, sorry not real computer whatever.....if you can tell me how to make the file size smaller, I've got it on a floppy
The coil grouping comes with four coils, three coils with fat wire for the lighting and one smaller skinnier black coil for the ignition?? this coil has one lead coming out of it that goes to the cdi. the coil has about a million turns of very fine wire which makes me think it would be very hard to rewind. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated
