View Full Version : Tri Z airbox lid- Vented?

Hey guys,
I was searching ebay and came across this. It is a vented airbox lid. Did some kid just drill holes through a stock lid and input these little vents? or was it some kinda aftermarket company making these. This has been my first one to see.

due to water intake and have never seen this before, id say just a crafty idea someone made

I seen an ad for a vented lid for a tri-z in my 3 wheeling mags.

my Z airbox lid is solid and made of plastic so thats something different or modified

Those vents are UNI brand vents, thats all I know as I'm none too familiar with Z's.

That is something sombody made. You can buy them little filters from dennis kirk.

that metal lid is factory with uni filters in it, they work great, i run a uni clamp on the carb filter on my z, i have to be on the lookout for water though:wondering
