loose banjo bolts? maybe you have alot of air in the line? I found a vacum bleeder to be much easier.

motorcycle & atv brakes seem to be very hard to bleed . i just open the bleeder & crack the banjo bolts loose & then just let it run out while i fill the mastercylinder then tighten the banjos leave the bleeder loose put the M/C cap back on & pump them till it comes out the bleeder & youll probably have to do this whole process a couple times to get all the air out . I cant believe that its that much more of a pain in the a#s than a car or truck but it is

Even on cars and Trucks it can be ruff. If you can Get your hands on a Vac Pump-life will be alot easier. If not- Lock all the banjo bolts and lines---Take the cap off the M/C and open the bleeder---The smallest hammer you can find --and very GENTLY-Tap the caliper while pumping--This will shake and free -up any air bubbles that are trapped in the nooks and crannys of your caliper.

Brandon, make sure that the brake lever is adjusted so that your getting full stroke out of the piston in the master cylinder. I had problems bleeding the brakes on a Tri-Z a couple years ago and it ended up being that the screw that went in and pushed on the piston was not out far enough for it to push on it. I dont think the Honda's have that same setup but its something to check.

Just for giggles----............. Is your Bleeder plugged?---try removing it completely-

the caliper is not frozen is it. I spent alot of time trying to bleed the brake on my 200x. Only to find out the piston in the caliper was froze.

3legg ,,, is there any fluid dripping other places around the caliper - other then where it is supposed to spit out ???
I had a heck of a time bleeding mine out UNTILL I replaced the o-rings in the caliper body where the piston rod slide thru ,,, real small o-rings and very hard to see let alone replace. In fact ,,, I don't think the honda dealer even knew they was there ,,, didnt seem to show on his micro fish thing.

i don't know if the caliper is froze, never seen them work, but they look like new.this trike can't have many hours on it.i wonder if i put the rubber seals in wrong when i rebuilt it?i am trying to look it up now,but gotta download adobe.i took the hose off at the caliper and nothing will come out.i can hear it push air when i pump the lever but no fluid.the resivor does not move either.what was coming out before must have been left over fluid in the caliper leaking out.whats this mean?

no,no strang leaks.i can't even get it outta the bleeder,or banjo bolt?the seals that go into the MC,are they supposed to bevel towards the resivor,or out towards the end of the bars.they are cuped and i figured they wne tso the bevel was out,and the cup in.that way when it pushed,it cuped, and forced fluid through?

use dot 4 or dot 5 fluid. My 200x did the same thing untill I got dot 4

3 ,4 or 5 Doesnt mean the wweight of fluid -It involves Boiling points+the amount of alcohol in the fluid--
If you can Hear air-rushing- Your M/C is "Airbound" - Take the hose off M/C- Cover it with your finger and pump--SLOOOWLY- until you get a steady pulse of fluid past your finger --hold tight - It has to Force past your finger-repeat down the line -finally at the bleeder screw.

Sorry I missed that----Yes the seals have a direcction to them ---make sure they are installed right--If theyre backwards ---you suck fluid back into M/C

so the cup should go towards the inside of the bike to push fluid through the hose?it sounds right
