Tecate Headlight Remount

I have seen pictures where some people have their 84/85 headlights mounted directly in front of the radiator. Does anyone know where you can purchase that? Anyone have plans for making you own????

it is an aftermarket headlight guard. i have one and for the right price it is yours!!! lol even have the headlight in it too. :beer

you need a 86/87 tecate headlight for that kit, If I remember right. the one on my tecate used a 86/87 headlight.

Theres another kit that puts it lower and almost centered in front of the radiator. Its aftermarket and theres nowhere to buy it now besides finding a used one on eBay.

Does the kit that sets the headlight down in the front of the radiator stick out a lil' bit? Because I have one. It came with my most recent tecate purchase.

Look on the second page of the classifieds under 85 T3 roller and that is the gaurd I now have. (it'll be on the third page most likely by the time anyone checks it out)

yah I remember that pic, looks worlds better IMO. I want a desert style light setup, a dual system with an 8 inch and 5 inch light.

I don't even WANT a headlight. So I think I am going to cover my new new "headlight mount" with some stainless mesh to give it that "race" look. Or I might just hang it up with the rest of my non used tecate parts and run a stock gaurd. Oh and big green, did you get that ignition from edog? If so hows that working out?
