Ok here it is, I'm not a big fan of the old metal tanks(have 2). And was wondering if anyone has used the Clarke tanks and how they look? Does the red one they make match the color of Maier red plastc? Looking to set my 85' 200X appart from the rest and do her up all in RED..........:naughty:

i have a white aftermarket tank that needs to be restored with some sanding and polishing if you want to trade for a nice white metal one.

Nick,
I have an IMS tank on my 85 200X which I chose after ordering and returning a Clark. The IMS was more money but is far superior in my opinion (at least for the 85 200X). The Clark tank does not have provisions to mount the air scoops where the IMS does. Also the rear mounting point for the Clark uses a rubber strap like an old ATC90 where the IMS has a metal bracket to let you use the factory mounting lugs on the frame.
Curtis.
