I have a 1985 250sx and it has no spark. I had replaced the clutch in it and when i got that all back together it wouldn't run. I figured out that it has no spark. It ran before i took it apart. What could be the problem?

well....Did you mess with any electronics while * were there? IF NOT, check your strator, pulse generator, spark plug cable, kill switch, CDI, Coil, and spark plug. Also check your grouns. Did you do anything to the flywheel? lots of things to check. I hope you have a checker thing-a-ma-bob lol i forget the word.

Does the electric starter work?

Does the Neutral light come on?

Do you have a good ground?

Is your kill Switch on as well as the key :rolleyes:?

The tricky thing about a sx is that the neutral light has to be on (OK, actually just the neutral switch has to be "on" {providing a ground at the wire}) for the trike to start. It is some kind of interlock built into the CDI. If the wire comes off, the trike will not start.
