How can I do this? Sandpaper?
I tried paint thinner with no luck. The reason I want this is because I love the look of straight black not black with the orange razr embedded in the tire.

Thanks

Is this stuff anything like the "BLUE" on new car tires- I work for bridgestone and they told us to clean it off with Glass cleaner--and it worked Great.

No, its not like that blue stuff on the tires. I know what your talking about. I would try to peel it off very carefully with a razer blade

possible something like acetone? Or how about a wire brush on a dremel? I want to do the same thing...

Is the emblem on both sides of the tire?? If not, just flip the tires on the rims.

I have seen the tires but never looked closely at them, Is the RAZR name raised on the tire? If so maby use some 200grit sand paper with a sanding block and lightly remove the raised letters. If they arnt raised then you could try to black them out with shoe pollish

there not a sticker, its painted on. or somehow they inbedded color into the tire. try some fine sandpaper. but after awhile of use they'll just wear off anyway.

Tape the contour of it with masking tape.. and spray paint it black..

If you grind it off . you will have a nasty looking scuff mark on the sidewall... yuck.

I wouldnt reccomend using any acetone, carb/brake cleaner/ or any other corrosive liquid, it will eat away at your side wall, and cause premature ware on the sidewall. I think your best bet is some super fine sand paper or some flat black paint.
