If anyone has some good history on the 1983 Honda 70 in BLUE, please let us know. I have heard stories of them being limited to one dealer each and being a Christmas giveaway gift... I am not sure of the TRUE story... If anyone knows how many were built in comparison to reds, and if there was any special badging that would also be helpful. Thanks, James

There is a blue 70 tank on ebay right now, and it is original, but used. All I ever heard the story of was one per dealer for the christmas giveaway. There is a flyer on the honda atc brochure link page. The tank decals are definitely different than what came on the red bikes. Also the tank warning decal is in white instead of in black like on the red ones. Other than that, I can't help you too much, cause my front and rear fenders were messed up on mine when I got it. I have never seen a rear fender decal for the blue 70's. The forks were also blue to match the tank and fenders. Sorry I don't have anymore info.

Well this is what I know,The blue atc70 was introduced in the later part of 82 ,but being 83 models. They were also Blue in 84 also.Yes one was at each Honda dealer and as far as I knew they were for promo's.This in turn was when Honda also was giving out the Honda playing cards that are now very collectable. As far as give aways ,I am not up with that I just thought they were for promo's.My Brother got a pretty nice '84 Blue 110 a few years ago and won't budge on it.The decals are diffrent on that also even including the warning stickers.I will see if I can dig up more info on the Blue trikes!!

Blue ATC 110's were somewhat common. The Honda dealer I went to always had a few of them in stock...about a 1:2 ratio with the red ones.

Blue 70's I only saw in the literature and the one that was for xmas. Definitely much more rare around my parts. And if I remember, the dealer said folks wanted the red 110's over the blue ones anyways, so maybe that's why there were a few sitting around.
