View Full Version : Finally Scored an 86Z cover with Original Warning decal!!

Heres the story

The cover that came on my 86 Z restore was very nice but I could see where there was a warning decal missing from the discoloration....A decal that is not in Jareds (speed & sports 86 Z kit)
Long Story but I found this as well as other tri Z plastic through a link here in the ebay forum . The problem was a computer bug wasnt allowing me access many websights including signing onto ebay to purchase something..

This cover is so nice that I will use this one with the original warning decal on my restore.....BUT I want to plan another road trip to speed and sport and have some projects and banners done in the within the next six weeks. I will have Jared reproduce it for all (I know not to many people are crazy about the warning decals though) Plus I may need one when I find that NOS chappy red cover;)

Is that the one i posted that had the no fear sticker on it? he was selling all the plastic for the 86Z. The guy is still trying to sell the rear fenders. Nice fenders for only $35, im suprised he still has them. That cover looks great and for only $10.

Yep Thats the one.....I forgot who posted it Thanks:beer The no fear sticker came off real easy and yes it was a bargain . I bought the shrouds and front fender. The shrouds are not as nice as the ones off my restore but the factory front fender was nicer once I cleaned it up....Still has some of the original gloss.

Even though my daily rider Black Z is nice I keep the extras as I want to dress it up as an 86 when I get bored :D
