my bike still killing the plugs. would it be my voltage regalator. cuz when i reved my engine up it blew the head light to.

No. The regulator should not be connected to the ignition system. I didnt see a regulator in the 84 wiring diagram. The 86 has one, but its not connected to the ignition, only the lights. The regulator could be bad, or have a bad plug, because the headlight will get about 30 volts and explode if the regulator isnt working. This can be caused by a bad ground on the regulator too.
Killed plugs are either way too much premix (should be somewhere around 30-50:1) or carb too rich. Or jets way too large.
