I found the original Honda Ownership card that was given to the original owners.... I am the second owner, but would still love to have one of these cards.... I took pictures, and also measurements. By the way, the card is a very flexible plastic....

Width - 3 3/8"
Height - 2 1/8"
Thickness - .014" (Measured with a vernier caliper)

Here are some pics... who can get some made... Harlan?

I have one of these cards also. Mine is Heavy paper / light cardboard and isn't laminated ( 1974 style ). Let me see if I can make some up. After the card is filled out then have them laminated. ;)

I think your best bet would be to find an unused original if you want something authentic.

If you want to go recreation, I'm sure alot of people could recreate it. It is pretty simple from a design standpoint. Printing it and choosing a substrate that mimicks the original will be the issue if you want it to be authentic as possible. You will need to find someone that can print on that subtrate or a similar one. They will also need to have access to a press or something that can print a permanant ink. Ink jets will not cut it.

Maybe the Sticker Guy (Harlan?) can help out with the printing. Generally when printing it is expensive to print one piece. Printing more than one wouldn't cost much more. The cost is usally in the setup.

If anybody has the ability to make these -especially the plastic/laminated ones- I am interested in 1 or 2!!

I started to make one but I'm slammed at work and don't really have time. Might be a while before I can get to it. If someone can make one sooner go for it.

By the way, yes I know it isn't right yet. Like I said I haven't had much time to work on it.

You guys are quick!! Maybe I'll post some exact measurements of the lines and fonts as they appear on the card... that would help authenticity.... and because I'm anal about this stuff... James

I was just looking through the paperwork for my 1982 185s with the suspension kit on it. Not only do I have the plastic owner card with it, I also have 2 warning stickers that were sent out in 1988 to the original owner to be installed onto the trike and the letter that goes with the stickers. One sticker says never operate this atv if you are under the age of 16. And the other sticker says this vehicle can be hazardous to operate and lists a bunch of don't do kind of things, pretty freaky eh?

It's a nice piece of history and came to my friend with the 250R (all numbers match) and original tool kit and owners manual.

Here's on for my 110. It's just cardboard. It has the original owners name. I'm the second owner.
