I've got 20'' tires on the back of my 84 200X. I'm wanting to put a smaller front tire and possibly wheel on the front of my X to make it sit better. I'm going to adjust the rear shock up to make it better. But does anyone know if a wheel from a 4 wheeler or 3wheeler that is smaller will fit on a 83-85, or even an 86 (I have both) front hub? Has anyone ever done this? Stock size is 23.5 and I know that my R has 23'' tire on the front, but would like to go smaller. Or should I just put an 85 or 86 250R on the front end? Thanks,

Derek

I would see if I could find a stock 250x, 300ex, or 400ex front rim/tire and mount on there, which are 22 x 7 x 10, but you are probably going to have the same issue as everyone else has wheen putting nine inch rims on the back. You will probably have to get longer studs and the appropriate lug nuts to mount the tire, since the 200x rims are very thin on the mounting flanges.
