yry puttign and old deep socket thats the size that fits over the axle splines and catches the collar and rive it off with a sledge hammer, just be careful the socket doesnt break and destrou the threads on the axle.

Also, try loosinging the brake tensioner the whole way back off. Sometimes the brakes grab and hold the axle in place.

People dont do maintenance because it's easier not to, when i replaced my bearings on my atc110 it was a 4 man job that took several hours, and in the end - some cutting!

ok, take a drill and drill the bearings itself out, and then just smash and crach the bearign apart, and slide out the axle, then just cut off the races of fthe axle and knock out the outer races from the carrier

Those carriers are real cheap and all over e-bay. Dont lose any sleep over it. If it was that hard coming out, carrier would have been toast anyway.

And by the way-if it makes you feel better, according to Haynes- Yes it comes out the left-"sprocket" side

Is this the one with the 175 forks- Is that a bolt together swap? Were you able to keep the front brakes? Im finding My 125 to be all Tires off the slightest bump, Dropped the pressures a tad, it helped but I cant "Empty" them.

yes its a 125 with 175 forks and yes * can use the front brake :) ive only rode it one time for like 5 mins before i started to restore it so i really cant say how good it rides but having front suspension was a noticable diffrence.
