sorry for all of the threads lately guys, i appologise, theres stuff here way more important than this, but there was no one else i could ask.
anyway, i went out and rode on some wet asphalt yesterday, and now when i turn right, the engine revs up like i have the clutch in. when i pop the clutch in dirt, only my right tire spins and burns out. also, when i hit the gas i.e. wheelie, on paved roads, instead of going straight it kicks to the left. what the hell is wrong with this thing? im at the end of my rope:wondering . pretty soon i hope il have an 85r so instead of repair questions i can post pics of riding or help others like they have helped me. thanks guys..

Make sure you have your throttle and clutch cable routed correctly. Let it idle and turn the bars, see if it revs up. If it does, then you have something routed wrong.
As for the pulling and only one tire spinning. Take off your hubs and check your splines.

Sounds to me that * stripped the splines in either ** hub or the axle. My friends lawnmower did the same thing when the keyway that held the wheel on fell out. LOL!

oh,it probaby is the hubs, i checked the cable routing, the clutch, tire pressure, that sounds like the problem lots of nothing.

or the bead might be broke on the tire. That was my problem.

You better weigh your options before ruining your axle by welding on the hub!

well it isnt exactly a show bike, but if i can find a junkyard hub il probably throw it on. what other hubs will fit it? how much does a cheap one go for? what are some of my options?

The only option is to replace it with a 83/84 hub.
Dont weld it, that is the stupidest fix that i have ever had to deal with fixing after people have done it. Just think if you ever have to get your rearend apart again.

Keep checking ebay, I just got rear hubs for my 200x on there. I understand that your hubs may be harder to find but just be patient and I guarantee you'll see hubs on there for your machine eventually.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the 83-85 200x hubs will work. The big difference is the paint color. And I do have good used 83-85 200x hubs in stock.

Make sure the axle splines themselves are not shot as well !!
If the axle splines are shot.. a new hub won't help for very long.

How did you have your axle extended 6"? That could be why you trashed the hub. Try Bob's Cycle in south Phoenix, I'll bet they got a spare or two. (602 437 3148)

I agree a 6" extention might be the part of the problem if it is custom.

its those cheap spacers, if it were up to me id take em off, but ive got bigger problems on hand... like finding a hub, tanks scoops, and getting it to shift to 5th.
the axle splines aren't shot, i had to take the wheels, spacers, and hubs off today for me to use my 'chrome in a can' on the rims. at least it looks descent even though it wont drive.
