Hey, does anybody know if a Boyesen Rad Valve for a liquid would fit on my '83 or '84 air...they only make them for the liquids  eh
Oh, and i sent my head in to get bored cause i had no or very little compresion...anyways they phoned me yesturday and said that i should only hone it and the hone wouldn't get ridda all the scratches, but it would b good enough for an '83!!! i had piston slap ** and thats what lead to this crap (no comp) like WTF i want 156 psi and to fly!!!!!!
So i'm gonna phone em today and tell them to bore it another 0.010 over...at the moment its 0.020 over, and getting the piston my self...lol $20 cheaper than what they wanted to charge me!!! Edit: Crap make that like 45$ cheaper!! :Bounce well they wanted $150 for the piston and rings only...i can get piston, rings, gasket set, uni air filter and Boyesen power reeds all for $186.51 :beer

Double and triple check that part # though as some companies are only listing it for the 85 & 6. If it is supposedly for all, like the link I gave you, then I'm sure the other companies would have listed it that way too.

Here it is again for all though.

every 250 2 stroke honda from the 80's were cylinder reed induction. they all had the exact same bolt patterns and reed cage depths. so a reed cage for an 89 trx250r or cr250 will fit an 81 atc250r. I have done a great deal of research in that department as I have an 83 250R that I am building.

now the intake boot(carb holder) are all different in there own way but the reed cages and rad valves are all the same as of bolt patterns and interchangability
