new to my 350x

how hard is it to tear down the bottom half of my motor i have a 85 350x or should i just take it to the shop its starting to get nice and i want to ride

If you got a Honda shop manual...I dont see why it wouldnt be hard,, as long as you have some direction

I am in the process of doing it using the Shop manual from Honda. It is going slowly but well. I spent a couple of bucks for the Honda Manual, but the pics are first rate, so it takes away a lot of guess work. Some Parts are a challenge, but I have been having good luck with Service Honda, and Bikebandit.com. The shop here in VA quoted me a price of almost 800 without parts for a bottom end rebuild, which is very high, but if you have some wrenches and patience, I think that you could save yourself some bucks. Also, I have read many of Howdy's posts on this board, and dude knows ALOT about trikes. Whichever way you choose, good luck!
