My chain finally broke on my Z (it was the original) so I bought an X-Ring chain made by Parts Unlimited. I also bought a new front sprocket because mine was worn BAD. Now, I'm not having much luck in getting the old front sprocket off. Is there a special way to do it? I've taken one off my AutoX, but it wasn't setup like this.
Any help would be great.
Thanks

First you have to bend the tabs down on the locking washer so you can get the nut off. Then, an air impact driver works best, but if you dont have one, or you are in the field, with the chain on, and the bike in gear, I use a socket, and a breaker bar, and then turn it until the slack is out, and then whack the breaker bar handle sharply with a hammer. If you try to turn it slowly it turns the engine over.

Thanks, I did just what you said and used a breaker bar and socket. I had to lube it up a little with WD40 then it came right off.
Thanks again
