This road is known as 4 Peaks. All dirt road to the top, and a blast if you are into swichback corners and long straight away's you can be in 6th gear pinned.

I bet some of those corners would make for some sick powersliding!
Next time bring someone to take pictures of you doing some awesome slides! Nice road.

I haven't gone there yet. Usually when I go out that way I end up at Sycamore Creek (http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/showthread.php?t=28974&highlight=pics).

You know there's a ton of Arizona riders on this board and I've only met a couple in person. This really needs to be corrected this season. Hell 90% of the time I end up riding alone which is just silly considering our numbers here.

I'm Dammit250r on aol instant messenger if anyone wants to contact me (used to be dammit1876 so if you already had that one, update it).

Next time I go out, I'll take my camera and take some photos of the place we ride at. Its out by Silver City, Idaho. It has both trees and desert. The friend I go out with has a Blaster so I'll have to have him take pictures of me.

It's only about 2 miles past the Sycamore turn off, on the right side instead of the left. It's worth the extra drive, trust me. Really cool "Desert Track" type trails off the road, An old, deserted ranch to visit, Trail to "The Rolls" and bathrooms at the staging area.

I hear Ya. I always end up going alone as well. Not too smart of a thing to do in case something happens.

Powersliding at it's best! The Forest Service even cuts the road on the inside of the corners (acts like a berm) so you can hook the rear tire and launch out of the corner without sliding out of control. Really cool of them to do that. You can see the "cut" in some of the pics.

No kidding. I've been stranded a couple times and had a painful wipeout another with nobody around for miles. Really gets you thinking when something like that happens. If I had been seriously injured there's no telling how long I would have laid there before someone found me. But when your options are ride alone or don't ride at all, I ride.

Yup, me too. Glad you wern't seriously injured. In May of last year I broke 6 bones at Glamis. Place was deserted. Good thing my dad was with me, otherwise I would probably still be there.

Sounds good. Problem is scheduling for a group of people. I'm available on weekends just about all the time.

I'm available on Sundays (for the time being). I'm waiting for it to cool off just a little bit more. Couple more weeks probably.
