I have finally got arond to rejetting my air cooleR (1983) with the Dial A Jet on it. I have had to go from a 130 main to a 125 main and I was wondering if this sounds too lean. I run H1R or HR1 (BELRAY) at 40:1. I put the plug next to cardboard and its a touch darker than the box itself. I have heard this is true if its jetted right?? Is it?
Do you 2 stroke guys have any pics of what your plugs look like?

Ok, I have done some more research about plug color...
I still need this answered though: What part (or how much) of the plug is supposed to be the tanish color??
The whole end of it should be.

i go to good color than lean out one more and do a run some poeple will find that there a couple sies to fat becouse it will not go white . If it does and you dont run alot at WOT leve it, thats what i have done. I ride the dunes but i never get to 6th gear pinned for very long. Remeber when doing plug chops pull in cluth as * kill it and hold throtle open becouse if you run WOT and slam the throtle closed it runs the motor lean and with very little oil
ps i use 50-1 oil mix mc-1 belray oil

Ok..I have never run it wide open befre and pulled in the clutch and killed it. I just simply ride it normal and shut it off like normal and this is its color. Would this have an effect on it? I still have to test run it w/ the DAL in a leaner and richer setting to see how larg of a difference that makes.
