200es stator

I have a few general questions about the stator coil on a 1984 200es. I purchase a new one from hyper parts and I am getting ready to install it. The design is slightly different and I do not have that much atv repair experience.

Does the wire get soldered to the tab sticking out of the middle of the windings on the new coil?

Is there some type of gap clearance measurement for the new coil?

Yes, you solder it to the tab sticking out of the center of the coils.

There isn't any adjustment on the coil. Solder the wire to it, Screw it down tight, double check to be sure the flywheel won't rub the wire, once this is done re-install it and you should be good to go.
