if it is something metal just sand down the rough spots (and sand the rest of the tank, just enough to say so), prime it (sand it again, Spray paint it with yellow (sand again), spray again with yellow, then clear coat it and your done. For best results wait atleast an hour for each paint session to dry before you sand it.

use this link for th plastics http://3wheelerworldforums.com/showthread.php?t=24247&highlight=plastic+sanding

get some metallic paint from autozone. It changes colors in the light or you can get paint with stuff in it like glitter.

If you paint the plastics use krylon Fusion paint. But they will have to sit for a week.

I say dont paint it, look up chainsaws method of sanding and polishing plastics, its in the tech tips section on the main page.

It takes a long time, but it's well worth it.

wheeliepop, the tank on these bikes are plastic, you could paint itm but paint cracks off fenders fairly easy from what I've heard.

I've heard of some people using Krylon Fusion and having good results, but I guess its up to you what you want to do.

Start another post, pick a few colors and ask if someone can change the color of this 200 for you. There are a few that know how to do that and I don't think it takes more then 5-10 minutes to do. This way you know exactly how it will look!

It's about 5-6 bucks a can.

Here is a colored in white 225 I had asked for a while ago.

That faded plastic should be able to be brought back to normal if you desire but get ready for a lot of work to do so.

Just think about the color scheme before you do it. Like If I thought ahead and did the SX ALL black it wouldnt have looked AS bad. http://3wheelerworldforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3515

ive done my fenders in krylon fusion, with satin black, and a gloss black topcoat. heres the finished product.

remember to take your time, wait a while between coats of paint. if its sprayed too thick, it will drip and run. and after it dries, it will flake off.

krylon is 5.99 a can here, i went through 2 cans.

Dude... Huffa that 225 is freakin' sweet. I want one. I love the white plastic w/ the black motor. It's probably just me but, I think that 200's body lines look reaally smooth/mellow compared to my 225's.
