185s no spark! HELP!

Ok.........we still have our silly 185s that still isn't running.........we paid a guy to fix it for us and he said he did.........moved away and the darn thing still isn't running...........now another 200 bucks and it still isn't running.
it has no spark........
new stator
getting gas fine...........

COuld it be something with the CDI????

My 110 wouldn't fire, I asked a lot of questions here.I replaced the stator mad sure I got elec. to the coil. then replaced the cdi, coil, it would fire to the frame but not the motor, changed the plug and it runs, oh I also disconnected the kill switch to make sure that wasn't the prob. Jim

do you have an ohm meter? if so check the ingnition coil I have a clymer book if you need specs just let me know. when my 200m lost spark I checked everything unfortunately my stator assy got loose and riped apart

Check and make sure your spark plug wire is secure and tight against your coil. And check and make sure your wires coming from the cdi to your eletrical system are tight fitting.
