Should you be able to see through it? Just for *** and giggles I stuck a paper clip in it to see where the plug is and it is almost at the halfway make. Should that be able to go all the way through?

Some go straight through, and some dont, but I have never seen one big enough to run a paper clip through.

Yeah its only a pin hole. I believe my problem is there was gas sitting in it for 10+ years so it varnished the carb and REALLY plugged my slow jet. So its gonna sit in carb cleaner till it loosens up.

The first thing they teach you in carb collage 101 is "Never stick ANYTHING into a jet, ever" - Especially steel into brass. They are a highly precise, metered port/nozel - even the slightest variation in size can give an unpredicatable and therefore "unmetered" result. If you can't clean it out, replace it.

I'm gonna have to replace it because this stuff just wont loosen up.
