225 air filter

If i take out my airbox and put a clamp on filter will i gain or loose or just be the same in power, i would think it would look better with that big black box gone a nice red filter on it, or somthing like that.???????????

Trust me don't remove it.You will get to much dirt in the filter.Or even worse water in your motor.The gains are minimal.You will just be able bring the rpms up quicker if you do that.If you would just ride on dirt trails with no mud holes, i would say ok.But for all out trail riding i would say no.

If you ever do remove it, make sure you re-jet it, or your motor will overheat and melt your piston!

Yeah its more of a weight loss mod combined with the gain in power. Be sure to rejet because you'll be flowing tons more air.
