Whats the deal with this set up? It looks like I have to take the whole air box out to get to the filter? :rolleyes:

Yep, that is the way you have to do it on those models ( and quite a few others ). It's really not that hard though.

ATC90, Some ATC110's, ATC185, ATC 185s, ATC200, and I think there is a couple others.

Its not really that hard. Just remove the seat and there are 3 10mm screws and the band that holds it to the intake hose. drop the back of it first then tug it back. Just be thankful you dont have to take the frame apart.

Yea, I see it isn't that big a deal but when your used to the winged studs that other ones have and need no tools this design seems terrible and the air box itself is so small the poor little trike probably suffers from it a bit.
