Im about to make a mold for the Z airbox cover but i need the measurements from the pic attached. The part is quite flexable when not mounted on the machine and im going to make a jig to hold the part correctly while the mold is being created.
Also if anyone can measure the distance between the bolt holes on the frame will help...im metric so in millimetres if possible ??
Any help appreciated.
Cheers :beer

The length between back mounting post to back mounting post was 6.5 inches. The length from the back mounting post (measured from middle) to front mounting post was 15 inches and the overall length was 16 inches. Also the width was 9.5 inches mounted.
I hope this helps and sorry I don't know the conversions. ;)

Man you work fast! I sure hope those numbers were close enough to get the job done right ;) . If it's off then you must have done the conversion to millimetres wrong!
I'm just playing I can't wait to get my hands on one :w00t: . I've already got my new YAMAHA side stickers in. I also got some fenders coming from ebay that are black and still have the stickers on. I'm hoping with the black shrouds, black airbox cover and black fenders it will turn my 85 yellow/black into a 85 black/yellow :D .
