I've been reading here for a little, I couldn't help notice a lot of you folks seem to have a bunch of three wheelers in your sigs. Does everyone here collect these things? Ive had a few of these over the years, I got a weakness for internal combustion motors, right now Im the 2nd owner of a 200s and just got a 82 110 that Im trying to get it ridable again. I notice the little 70s seem popular. whats up with those things? I know where I can probably get one. Is it a nostalgia thing, or just cute?
I'm parting chevelle parts and usually put in the ad I'll trade for 3 wheeler parts just to see what people may have. No luck yet.
I'm sure these things are like any other toys, you can put way more into them than they're worth. I'm up to 75 bucks on my 110 figure by the time I redo the seat and find 3 tires I'll be up to $200 and I can't imagine the thing worth more than $200 but half the fun is getting there! JIm

I had an old atc90 when I was a kid. A few years ago, a buddy gave me an old klt110 and got me started. I fixed up an old atc70 for the neighbors kids, and it got me to thinking about the old suspension 70's I always read about. Next thing you know, I got 2 suspension 70's, a blue 83 atc70, a350x, a 185s, a suspension frame for a 185s, a couple aftermarket atc110 frames and a suspenion atc frame that takes a yamaha rd350. It can get nutty real quick if you find the trikes you always read about when younger but could never get. Just have fun. I like turning the wrenches too.

Trikes are awesome I pickup as many as I can afford whenever possible. I wish I had 100 trikes maybe someday. I'm trying like hell to get a collection and just added a 73 atc70 to my 4 other trikes. I want to get it running and in near mint shape for my son when he's old enough. I wanted the atc70 cause of it's age. Its cool to see how these machines have evolved in the years and how small they made them.

Dammit!

I think that the major thing that makes me collect trikes, whether they are riders or parts wagons, is the fact that each & every day there are less trikes on this planet. :( Parts are only becoming less available & more expensive.
Only postponing the inevitable, I guess. But I'm not going down without a fight.

Not everyone here collects 3 wheelers. But a few do have a bunch. I know I have way too many, but am always looking for more. I guess you could call it more of a addiction then collecting. lol

Too addicted? You tell me?

im quickly getting addicted myself i picked up an 200x last year and in the time it took me to get her running correctly i picked up 2 250r projects. i sold one and took the cash to get the other up and running. now all it needs are new axle berings and rear brakes and i will have 2 running trikes and it will be time to look for a new project. im currently thinking about getting a cr125 it aint a trike but a 94 cr125 that runs for $300.00 is just something im having a hard time passing up.

We just sit on the 3 wheelers and chew on the old tires. j/k lmfao!!

The collection we have wasn't built aquired over night. It has take a good many years and a lot of dealing ( Buying and selling ). I just wished I have everything totally organized so I can find what I need when I need it. As it is now it can take me weeks to find a part that "I Know we have". lol

I saw some advertisement here in San Diego where a guy is selling a tecate 200 or something green and a 70. I think he wanted 1500 for the 200 and around 500 for the 70.

If I was single though, LOOK OUT!! :D

Hey Bruce
You did not comment on the east coast trike show & ride. Would you come out to Rocket for it? You guys that have so many trikes have now got the oppertunity to show them off!

Come on out!! I'm tired of just pictures. I admit it is a cruise for you though. Must be at least 7 hours but then again have you ever ridden your moto oreineted trikes on a track like this? I'll bet not!

Howdy is with in striking distance of it also.
