Where is the reverse on the '86 Honda 250SX

the same place as on the 85 and the 87!

but seriously whatdo you mean the reverse how to engage it or where it hoks tho the motor or shift patern or what you have to be more specific.

ok in the rear brake lever there is a little red button make sure your in neutral, and push down the red buttin and pull in the brake while holding down the button and while doing these 2 things also shift down. you should work if iverything is hooked up and there properly. sometimes on mine i ahve to try it a few times b/c its worn but should work, and to take it out just up shift back to nutral.
