200x carb settings [Archive]

Hi I just got a new 200x and noticed its running a bit rich , plug is getting blacked up a bit. Does anyone know the initial setting for the mixture screw?

What year? If it is a '83 then 1-3/4 turns out and '84-'85 is 2-1/4 turns out.

Its an 83 cheers ,I will have to get a look at it tomorrow.

Thats an awkward bugger to get to , mine was set at 1 3/4 but is running a bit rich .which way makes it leaner?
