I've found an electric starter for a 84'honda 200s atc, through a company called GOKI. Has any of you converted a 84'honda 200s atc from pull start to electric start?
if so plz let me know how it went.Does it have push button start?
GOKI sales it for around $250.00...i think it'd be worth it.

they make them for the 350x and possibly others.. i've heard of them before..

Does it come with a case cover ? to allow the gears from the starter etc... to mount up ?

another option might be pulling the parts you need from a 200e or 200m, both had electric start and chain drive so the cases should match up.

The Goki kit looks pretty straight forward. If you haven't seen this yet, here's a pic:

You don't want one of those, thats nuts  (are you wacked out  ) to pay that much! I'll sell you this whole motor & starter for 170. The hi-low sub trans you don't need, right? 600 wants that (sub trans), front & rear rack & hitch set up.

You could just slap the whole motor in and if it's real healthy then just sell your other one or have it as a back up or whatever!

Starter does work, engine does run but I only ran it for a few seconds so before I sell it I'm going to test the compression and make sure it's healthy.

This engine will clean up real nice with little work and I'll do that before I sell it.

I prefer to sell engine & starter as a package and really don't want to split them up.

Need any other parts? I know 600 would like the sub trans & hitch set up

I might have another identiacl machine, same shape as this one, in a few days.

Hey, you're supposed to keep the classifieds in the classifieds section!

Actually I was more interested in the E-start than the sub trans, but I've got other priorities right now.

I think you'd have to make a clearance dent in a 200s downtube to accept the 200e or 200m starter. Should be relatively easy with a BFH.

i just bought an 84 200s and although an electric start would be nice, it takes away from the simplicity of the machine. (very few things that can go majorly wrong. no battery no reverse etc...)
