im going to rebuild my 85 200x engine tommorow first thing, im thinking about boring it over. how much over would you guys recommend, and if i bore it over to i have to get a bigger jet for my carb, and what about a bigger cam?? do you have to do this when you bore it over? if i have to put a bigger cam in it do any of you guys have an oversize cam youd like to sell?? Just wondering i want to get some info on it before i start doing anything so please leave me some feedback with any info you have. thanks

Personally I wouldn't bore a cylinder unles it needs it. The reason is: it won't ad any noticable power to the machine. If your wanting power go with a better cam, carb, ect.
Just my 2 cents

Yep, I agree with Howdy. Id just as that if the cylinder does NEED bored, then its adviseable to only bore to the next increment that will remove any irregularities, and resquare it.

You dont want to go to high about 10:1 is about the highest you can run on pump gas you might be able to go up to 10.5:1, but that is pushing it to the limit. The more power you make the less reliable it becomes. Josh
