I copied the super scoop design to some alum.. Then heated and formed. Not a hard job. Good luck...... :beer

That should be no problem, my buddy had a TRX 200 where the fenders were made entirely of sheet aluminum... very cool looking. Only very low-performance...

that sounds sorta cool, i bet it looked amazing! oh, redrider, where in alaska do you live? i went up there last year to hit the salmon run, i stayed in kenai, deep creek, and anchorage most of the summer. i loved it. i might move up there next summer.

You should try to make them out of diamond plate or something. That would look pretty cool IMO, and hold up better than aluminum.

I believe its TROLL ( IDK for sure ) but hes got a super trick air cooleR. He made them out of tread plate (IDK if its steel or aluminum), but they look awesome.

I have made some for my R. I have made an aluminum set and they were easy. I also used an english wheel with special attachment and put a trick bead around them. I have also used galvanized steel, but I have had no luck getting them to stay a decen shape.

They are easy to make..it just takes patience and the want to do it

Those bits of bodywork are made of plastic because plastic fenders and air scoops cant cut your leg or arm off in an accident, theyll bend.

i was thinking that some thin gauge sheet would work. after getting the shape i could tuck in the edges so that i couldent get cut in a wreck.

I cut a set or RM 250 air scoops to fit my R. I think they look pretty good.

that sounds reasonable, maybe put some rubber or plastic welting on the edges.

Those do look killer, i bet the motor gets alot more air since they are alot bigger. what year scoops did you use? i was thinking maybe some old cr500 scoops would look cool.

btw troll, your 250r is amazing, i wish mine looked half as good as yours lol.

what did you have to do to make them fit?
