I put the top end together and cleaned out the bottom and the carb etc, replaced the tranny oil. I drained the gas and 2stroke oil and replaced it with Yamalube R2 and 93 oct. Starts on first pull no choke everytime.

Question. When going down the street and going past half throttle to really open it up. The motor breaks up real bad like its not enough fuel. I tried adjusting the screw with the spring in and out and no difference either way. My question is since it was bored out to the second oversize do I need to change jets in it to get more fuel, or how can I correct this problem. Other than that its great, My son absolutely loves to go for a ride with me on it. I can't wait for him to be able to ride it on his own. I THINK IT NEEDS A WHEELIE BAR. I'm also saving up for some more parts for it some people have on here, and the DG pipe.

I also wet sanded the faded ass plastic that had mold in it. I went with 400 to 600 to 1K and then buffed it with my highspeed car buffer and it looks awesome. The carnuba wax really made it look good to. Now my turn for one of the big 3(tecate, triz or 250r)

Thanks for all your help and advice last week about the bike guys. :beer

I do believe the main jet controls 3/4 to full throttle range so i'd try changing the main jet up one and test run. having it bored like you said would need more fuel.i don't know if thats the problem, but my z was doin that and i upped my main and it cured it

don't know where are they located on that bike. Most are up by the carb, but that one goes right into that intake pipe. Are they at the end where that pipe meets the block. Let me know I will check them out. What should I look for to see if they are bad?
