Whats up guys, I have an airbox gas tank for the tri-z. It is one that PRM made back in the day. It seems like alot of people want one. I know that there is alot of people on this board that are pretty handy in fabrication. Would anyone be interested in trying to reproduce it? I know that hagen(greenboy) is good with stuff like that. It works great and really cleans up the Z a bunch. Getting rid of all that extra crap, but it only holds 1 1/4 gallons. I have looked it over pretty well and it seems like there is room to make it deeper. Going towards the spark pug coil. You may be able to squeeze and extra 1/2 gallon or so. I am not sure. If someone is good with this stuff and has an extra frame laying around for measurements, I am willing to let them give it a try. I will be home from Iraq in Nov or Dec so it will have to wait till then. Man, I can't wait to ride again. Anyway, let me know.

Thanks Denn

Denn,

Are you back man....??

That sounds like an awesome idea and a good way to help folks out and make some profit as well.

I have one of those fuel tanks. Hagen studied it at Trikefest and siad he might give it a shot. but I have been unable to reach him lately so I am unsure of his progress.

I've been wanting to make one of these for a while...I dont have a sheet metal brake yet but I'm hoping to get one soon. I'd be interested in trying to make one. I've got an extra roller Z I can use for just measurements and the like without tearing mine down too.

Hey whats up, No darius I'm still playing in the sand. I got 2 or 3 more months. I can't wait to get outta this god forsaken place. Can't wait to ride. Anyway, I am willing to let someone give it a shot. I like the tank and all but its just a bit 2 small. It could use a 1/2 or 3/4 of a gallon more gas. Would be alot better. Like I said I'll be back in nov or dec. Just thought I ask.

Thanks Denn

Hey Denn, I can't help you with the tank, but I thought I would say that I feel for you since you are in the sandbox. I'm active duty Army, and I've been here in Korea for two years. I have just under a year to go over here. I hope to head to Fort Hood after I'm done here. It might be a sick thought, but I actually want to go to the desert. If I serve six years without going, especially after 11SEP01, I will feel like I haven't done anything. What branch are you in?

Hey billy, you are still welcome to use mine as a model when ever you want.

Is this the same tank you are talking about?
