Any of you guys with the old Hondaline accessory catalog...I'm looking for the part number to the Ohtsu pro-wedge 2 tires. I've seen them in the books before but I dont remember what years (I want to say like 84?) or the number.

My book doesn't have the typical partnumber (#####-###-###)... Mine has some other Honda Code in it. Do you want that? I know you can't use the Honda Code on Service Honda to find anything, but guess it could cross reference something for you!

PS - Type I - 2-piece rim (81-82R) 1181866
Type II - regular rim (83-84R) 1354869 Both are 22-11x8

Hmmm. Any idea how would I go about decoding that to a normal code? If I give some dealer lackey that # they probably wont have a clue what to do with it :(

No luck yet...I've tried every trike product code and also a few quad ones like the trx250r. Anyone else with a hondaline book that might have the actual part #?

If you have the old style partsfiche it might have a cross reference of the part numbers. I will try to double check on this at the shop ( I have old school style fiche there).

Hey RichinMO, are those for the stock 350X rear tires or the Pro-wedge 2's? If thats the pro wedge 2's on 9inch rims that'd be sweet.

Edit: I see that in the part look up it says PW 501, so I think thats the pro wedge 1's. Thats still a damn good price though.

Edit #2: Howdy, did you have a chance to look that up? Ronnie's got the # for the pro wedge 2's on 8in rims, but I think they made some 9's too and thats what I'd like to find.

08620-HA000AT AT24X11-9 PW501 69.06 59.7

Theres another # I discovered mesing around on service honda. Thats that code of the 250ES. So, Its still a pro wedge 1 (501) but its a 24x11x9. The Pro wedge 2's from the code Ronnie posted above fit a 185/200 series.

I just plugged that into partsfish and thats what I got. Doesn't look like there is a listing for the pro wedge 2's on 9in rims. Maybe they only ever came in 8's? Theres also a listing for a Ohtsu 503, anyone familiar with that model of tire?

Are those the snow-style tires? The ones with that... wierd pseudo-paddle tread pattern?

Yes it is. Their commonly used in dirt drag racing for a good hookup and weight reduction. Their light as heck.

Is the tread different between PW1 and PW2? I always thought the only difference was that PW1 was for split rims and PW2 was for one piece rims.

Yeah, its a little bit different. The tread on the pro wedge 2s is thicker, and it doesn't fold over as easy as the 501's. I've heard that about the split rim and normal rims too, but I'm running 501s on my one piece 250R wheels, So I dunno. I've never seen a 24in one like that part # above references...I'd like to see one of those.

While perusing some of my 3wheeling mags, I found an ad for Ohtsu's Pro Wedge tire. They tell the difference between PW1 and PW2.
