I got a 10:25:1 piston in my 200s and Im lookin for a little bit more power, would a 12:1 piston make a noticable difference? I understand it requires like 110 octane gas and thats ok, I also heard to swap the cam chain with a high strength one?...is the chain needed? Alsoi where can I get a flywheel puller for my bike?...Thanks

I put the 12:1 piston in my old 200s and would not do it again unless I was going to be using it only for racing. You do get a little bit more power but not worth the extra hassle of using race gas and stress on the engine in my opinion. What other mods are you doing? I ran my 200s with a stock exhaust and it was not as powerfull as slow200s's and he is running a 10.25:1 and cobra exhaust.
Whatever you do don't forget to rejet!

I have custom straight pipe, 10:25:1 piston(.50 over), xr200 cam, 200x carb... and I understand that Im not gonna get much more out of the engine but Im happy with it and I only want a little more and I was wondering if that 12:1 would do it?...wat kind of stress is being put on the engine besides runnin hotter?...also do you guys have problems with breakin ropes with all that compression?

it would be cool if someone could swap a xr200 or xl 175 motor into it with a few mods.....that thing would rip! i dont knowq much about pistons, but i know that most honda four strokes turn into timebombs with heavy motor mods like stroking and 12:1 pistons.

i have broke the rope once but it was nothing big in fact it was better that i broke it because the rope was to long to begin with so now it works better, starts first pull if the gas is on.
