Hello i might be getting a 250r from someone and it is an 82
I think the 86's plastic body look sooo much better, is there a chance they would interchange?

Welcome to the board!! I dont know if that will fit. They are totally different 3 wheelers. Anything is possible with some fabrication skills. I'm a purist though ....I'd appreciate the look of the first generation 250r and if you like the later models you could possibly trade someone for an 85 . First generation R's are sought after in good condition.

Probably too fast for you! :beer

Seriously though. they are fast. Not as fast as the liquid cooled R's but plenty fast. More speed than you'll ever need :D

The liquid cooled are much faster. I'm still waiting for my 81 R to arrive from Texas. After I acquired the late model "big three" the older models started growing on me. They are a chapter in history and a form of art as I see it. I little more fun to have than a Van Gogh!!!

i think the blue seat would be better cuz its longer and goes up the tank a bit

Here is a prototype of it i was thinkin if i put a blue seat from my parts 200s bike.

Looks like someone has put an 83-84 front end on your bike. Blue seat wouldn't look bad IMO.

BTW: those R's are plenty fast.... I know for example that if you want to measure the top speed of an 84 R..... a Hondaline speedo doesn't go high enough!!!!

as far as i know of there is only one type of fatcat for 2 years. i havnt seen the one forsale but ill check into it.

Well heres the deal im only 14 1/2 and i told my dad i was gonna buy this 3 wheeler i found on here for 500 bux.and he says he doesnt want me to get it becuz its too fast and ill drag it and get killed(i drive on road 90 percent opf time).i told i wouldnt get hurt.hopefully he ends up letting me buy it because 3wheelers look awesome.i have a four wheeler
(86 trx200sx) i really dont think i would have a hard time with a 3 wheeler, ive putted around on em but never accually went down road on one! :) so i dont know :(
