Whats the difference between 200x, 250r, and 350x front ends?

The 200x is shorter... has the brake on the right.

350x and 250r are taller... have the brake on the left and have more travel then the 200x forks.

Lots of differences.... what are you trying to get at in your original post? Even between "generations" of 250R's are all different. (The info MT gave was for a 85-86R.) If you need or want to use front forks from a different trike (which I don't recommend); you can do so on most sport models by changing the complete triple tree with the front forks/hub assembly. Let us know more the reasoning behind your question and we can better assist you!

I think I'd have to stay away from 350X or 250R forks on a 200S... you then get too "tall" and defeat the purpose. The 200X forks should be good. If you bottom them out, look at some Progressive Fork Springs and redoing the seals. I have Progressive Fork Springs on both 350X's and my 82R and I haven't bottomed out yet!
