Carb setting to high? Also check all the engine mounts, check if they're too tight/too loose. Any pics?

lots of water in oil = BAAAAAD... this will cause excess vibration. Flush it a few times until it comes out clear again.. grey color.. or foam = water.

....and put some light weight oil in the cylinder and crank it around to try to lube the rings, they may have water in them.

I just re-read your original post...... stolen and recovered huh...

Sorry to tell you the obvious, but i bet it was ridden HARD... Go over the whole thing.. check the frame and mounts for damage.. check the axle for warping .. check the forks etc..... Check the airbox for water as well.. drain the oil a few times. and put a new plug in it...

Do you only get vibration while standing still and not moving or only once you get going ?

rode hard and put away wet to be correct gas tank was full water pull start was full of sand. and the head light weights about 5 pounds due to the sand in the head light. vibration is felt at idle an at speed

You know... personally i'd think very seriously at at least removing the valve covers on the head and taking a peek in there... any discoloration or sings of serious problems you want to know now not later.

MAn.. that Sucks...... May the bearing gods have pitty !
