picked up a 81-82 r

I picked up this basket case over the weekend , its a 82 frame with a 81 motor , swingarm ,and forks . it came with two new tires like the front one thats on it now , new piston & rings , rod, main bearings , that are still NIB. The only the missing is the pipe , dose anyone know if anyone still makes a pipe for the 81-82 R's

And this is the frist trike i have bought for my self in about 6 years so i'm very happy to own it trike again.

I am pretty sure you can still get a pipe and silencer from DG. Just to let you know the front hub is on backwards. The disc should be on the right side. Once and a while you'll find exhaust on Ebay. I have a complete Kerker on my 81 and a full Bills pipe and silencer in my basement(not for sale). The hardest parts to fnd on the 81-82 Rs are a clean seat pan and fuel tank. All the wear parts like fork seals, swingarm bearings etc. are still available from Honda.

Thanks for the info . My tank and seat pan are still good so i got lucky there
