im trying to build my last years all round rider 200x into a flat trak screamer. im looking for sugestions on how to lower the rear end of it with out cutting and welding. also does anyone know if they make wider rear axles for an 85 200x? how those extenders work? thanks

Spacers work fine but offset wheels work the same and are stronger. To lower the rear you could tie it down with a tie down strap or go the expensive way and send your shock off to be revalved so it sits lower.

Well from what I understand, the durablue will work, if you can get your hands on one of those. Someone else will have to answer that. Then you can add some 86-87 200x or 300ex hubs which are aprox an inch to inch and half more out then stock early 200x hubs which are flat. Then use the offset rims like Biggreenmachine (nice signature) suggested. With some cute little 18 inch tires...

That should be plenty wide after those hubs and wheels, then you need to focus on lengthing the bike. From what I see it should be no problem to lengthen (spelling?) the stock swingarm if your any bit handy.
Thanks Jen, you know I can't take the credit for it.

Check the AutoX in my sig. It has a plus 3 durablue axle, 300ex hubs, and offset Douglas wheels. It's pretty wide. :naughty:

my 200x is 48'' wide with a +4 durablue and some offset rims..with a larger offset i can be at about 50, or if i was to use some 300ex hubs i would be at 50. and 50'' is as wide as your allowed to be to race, so it should be plenty.

www.jlatvproducts.com Durablue 2+2 rear axle for 200x. Have to buy a 82 250r sprocket for it though. :w00t:
