I know a guythat is connected into the Honda wherehouse database. These are only the numbers that are located in the wherehouses, there could be some setting on dealers shelves somewhere that i have no way of checking

The parts a Z-coded, (alot of people on here have already seen me explain this) what that means is due to lack of sales or inactivity they are thrown away, Destroyed, and no longer made again. I called the other day and got hear about 15 of those R shrouds going in the dumpster.
Dammit!

I ordered new shrouds and a headlight shell. I really want one of those black gas tanks but can't afford it.

I just bought a new OEM Honda front fender and both tank shrouds a few weeks ago.
Glad I did it!! :w00t:
But coming up with the money for a new rear fender is just painful.
My present original is in VERY nice shape but has light surface scuff/scratches.
It'd be cool to have a brand new spare.

I bought a full set to squirell away and am very happy I did. I'm contemplating that black tank cause I wanna build an all black bike. Are there any aftermarket black tanks?

I agree.
Someone posted a pic of a Black Plastic and Gray/Silver-framed water pumper not too long ago.
It also had a large pair of Baja lights on it.
MAN, was that awesome.
That's a "dream combination" for me.
Out of curiousity.....how much are the black tanks?
If you folks say they're high, they're WAY out of my price range.

Appreciate the info Lomax-- Even though some suppliers like cal ATV may have some in stock its great to get some real numbers on the supply. They wont last long. Buy'em guys for your machines because if you dont I may in a week or two.
Where do you get this plastic from? I want to buy a full set. Any info will help.
Thanks Denn

I do know who the guy is in charge of throwing this stuff away, unfortunatly, he is ordered to throw it in the dumpster and crush it  . His job depends on that and it stops dumpster diving
