Yamaha 3 wheeler line up/models made

I was wondering where I could find more info and pics of Yamaha's 3 wheeler line up that they had. I know very little about them. I think that they made a couple of 2 strokes that were not race machines. Is a YTM200 a 4 or 2 stroke? Thanks for any help you can provide. :wondering

Ytm 200 is a four stroke.The first two stroke Yamaha made was the 1983 the 125 YTM.The second was the 1985 175 YTM.The third was the 1985 Yamaha Tri-Z.The four stroke were the 1983 200e,200k,1984 200 ytm,225 dxn,drn,1985 225 drs,dxn drn.Hope this helps?

They did start the 125 in 1980. seems like the 175 started in 82.

The 175 was available in 82 and 83 and was a two stroke.

Whoa.......Sorry, I totally missed the "spec" page. Thanks, Jeswinehart. I appreciate you guys answering my questions. I'm glad I found this site. I have Hondas, but have always been curious about the 3 wheelers Yamaha made. I once rode a worn-out 225, and it still ran smoothly. I spent a lot of time on a 225 moto-4 as a kid. I am assuming that the engine in the four wheeler came almost directly from the 3 wheeler.

1979 street legal 49cc built in Japan by Yamaha not made for sale in the *.S.. I bought mine from a local mechanic on the 4th of July. It was a gift to him from his neighbor who had a Japanese exchange student stay with them while he went to school here. The student had the trike shipped here and left it with his host parents as a gift when he returned to Japan. I've been all over the internet and it doesn't exist except that Yamaha mototrs Japan wanted to buy it from the man I bought it from. It is based on the model QT50 Yamahopper and any info on this trike would be great.

Lets not forget about the 84-85 yt60 tri-zinger. Kawasaki only made the 84-87 t3 two stroke and honda only 81-86 R. It's really kinda hard to believe how few two strokes the oem's actually made. And if you really want to get obscure we can't forget about the Suzuki alt 50. So that makes a total of 7 different models of two stroke 3wheelers with Yamaha clearly having the most with 4 different models.
