Nice.. i like the GPS ..... gotta get me one of those.

You need to blast adn re-paint the kick start lever.

And clean up the head

And what rear tires are those and how do you like them ?

I have more questions.. but i'll wait .. hahahahaha...

Very nice !

i don't know what tires they are -- they came with it -- :D

and with the aesthetics -- i can't be bothered with polishing it for now -- i'm busy running my pups with this gem at night!

i maintain the drivetrain like a nervous mother though, that's for sure --

:D

Thats a shame. Payin 15 dollars for those decals. You could have got a set of two original decals from Harlan Lysne for $8 bucks. Hehehe..

that's a sweet ride dude! i like the gps as well and like said before i got to get me one of those. and i dig what you are trying to accomplish.i do alot of rough canadian riding with my sx and it sure bashes the trike up. at one time i wanted to pimp it up as well but then i would be afraid to go swampin.oh and as for those tires , my bud has a sx and he had the exact rubber and he installed a set of mud lites and he never looked back.

here it is --

in my eyes, EVERYONE with metal tanks should do it, or else their tanks will rust from the inside out, leaking gas, and making them put that plastic POS on their bikes!

Nice Bike. I have those tires on my SX too but they suck in mud. Awesome for powersliding though.

I remember the Carlilse trail pro tires as not being that great for wet stuff. I personally used to get the Buckshot mudders for snow and mud. I don't know if they can still be found.

What is the purpose of the block heater? I have one on my diesel tractor but never really had a problem with starting my Honda ATV's in sub zero northern michigan winters. All of my machines from the 100 up to the 85 250R were used down to about minus ten (-10F) with no problems.

I got one too... not installed yet.. but it will be.

I still think that you mounted that thing incorectly....... thet top part should touch the cylinder head somehow.

If you want to do a few tiny things that will make the trike look ALOT nicer (believe me.. they do..),
1) Paint the clutch lever/foot brake with Dupli-Color Chrome paint, or just a regular silver paint.
2) Paint the foot pegs
3) Paint the header/pipe and heat-sheild with high-heat paint
4) Paint the kicker with the same high-heat paint (use high-heat because it holds up better than normal paint, and since the kicker is close to the header.. it will look good if it matches)
5) Run some steel wool over the shiney fins on your engine. Get whatever paint off that is on them making the shiney-ishness of them look like crap. (You can see from the pic in my sig what you should polish up)

Just doing those few things (which will probably take 2 hours for all of it.. total), will make it look alot better. I did it on my trike and I was very glad I did. Made it look alot more presentable.
