I was getting real tired of my stock shock bottoming out so i installed a spring off a CR500..I've decided i love it..So now i wanna paint it but im having trouble trying to figure out what color i should go with..Should i stick with the stock blue even tho i have no blue on my bike other then the stickers? Or since my whole bike is basically red should i just go with that? I was hoping a few of you could tell me witch color or any other color would look better..

The 1st pic is my stock shock and the 2nd i just took of the 500 shock.......THANKS!!!

i reckon that looks pretty cool as is, i personnally wouldnt go with red, i hate it when they look like they have too much red on them but its up to you ;)

I say stay with the blue I like the contrast. My brother has a red Bombardier four wheeler and his shocks are yellow and I think that looks good too.

the current paint seems in good shape .. and it's powercoated i beleive.( could be wrong )

if you really insist on painting it... either Red or Black.

If you have gold colour stickers on the swingarm.. Gold would be ok.

But probably Black would be best in my opinion.

Or you could just save yourself some work by just putting an Outerwear shock cover on it.

I think the blue looks great. It breaks it up a little.

Theres what a red/metallic gray shock looks like. Its on an SX. I just figured I'd throw that out there for you to compare to the blue shock..

..hmm.. ok.. well one pic didn't work. Oh well. Theres one, atleast.

I think blue looks great, just take the spring to the powder coaters and they`ll match you up. thats what i did.
can i ask was it an easy fit the spring? mine is getting spongy and i`m not the lightest person in the world, or did you use the whole shock.
cheers wolf :wondering
