well, here's my R....this is after i did all the modding to get the s/t stuff to work and give me a crazy small turning radius....check out how far the bars turn...i think they turn more than an actual s/t triple would allow...the front end is sagging a little cause i need to rebuild the forks ASAP...alright...tell me what you guys think...

Nice 250r :w00t: I noticed the sections on the expansion chamber. What kind of expansion chamber and silencer is that on there? Would you be intrested in parting with it?

i dont know what kind of pipe it is...but the silencer is an answer s-2...the pipe has had some serious pitting on it closer to the cylinder...i think that it was originally bare metal back in the day, and it is def a handmade mx pipe with an emphasis on upper midrange...im not really interested in parting with it right now, but after i get my paul turner sytem in a month or so i may....i am going to finish out the drag season with this pipe....i might put it in the classifieds when i get the new one....

I'm not a big fan of the short track tank setup but I must admit that it looks pretty good.
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't an extended swingarm increase the turning radius? Yours looks to be extendied quite a bit. Maybe it would turn way better if it was stock legnth or -1.

yeah, well my swinger is extended +4" BUT, my turning radius is still extremely tight..i would say the inside tire makes a 2' max. circle when i crank the handlebars all the way...i still have a stocker, but its such a pain in the balls to switch swingers i probly wont change swingers anytime soon...i can still ride really really tight trails with the 3+3" wheel spacers and +4" swinger..the s/t stuff really helps in the tight woods trails i must admit...it turns so sharp i dont think it would help any if it turned any sharper, its ridiculous...

lookin good :beer . Cant wait to see it this weekend. How much does that pipe help you in drags compared to one that is made for low end to mid range?

How do you like that PRM grab bar?? Would the taillight from your R mount up to it?

I think that does turn more than a normal short track, myself I couldn't see myself doing mx with anything else than a short track, trails?????? the only thing would be the fuel compacity that would stop me. Where I ride people are shocked how sharp my bike turns and they love the sick full lock slides I do, speaking of my atc, I miss my 250r very much, I tore into my locked up tranny and found that I need a crank, counterbalancer, not sure if the cylinder is good, or if I have to have it replated. I can't rebuild the tranny so, my mechainic will be the one to tell me what wrong with that.

Back in the 80's, Guys would run in the stock class in the nationals mx races with a modified front end. Not sure if it turn as sharp as a short track kit! they pulled the tank mounts back about a inch and ground on the stops to increase the turn radius. Looked stock and legal. Don't recall anybody getting disqualified over this.I wasn't one of them that did it!
