I just rebuilt my previously rebuilt 110 top end. I just had to change the seal on the stud where the oil goes through to the head.
When I rev it up and it starts winding down, like right before it starts to idle again it ticks a few times. The valves are already adjusted to the correct clearance. .003
I did the cam chain adjustment where you undo the lock nut undo the adjuster 1/2-1 1/2 let it adjust on its own then tight both back down.
The cam chain was replaced on the first rebuild about two years back.
Maybe I need to do the manual chain adjust, take off the sealing nut on the bottom off the engine and adjust it that way?
