I recently got this 1983 Bigred 200E for 400$ Canadian.

I took it for a 2 hour trip and the chain broke off whats the easist way to put a new chain in?

Another thing i can't keep the hubs on tight on the rear. I'm using these big Super Swamper Vampires That work awesome. Any help on this would great becuase once it loosens off you can feel it wobbling around quite bad climbing hills and doing donuts. EDIT - I have also tried blue locktite

Also where can i find some parts for this other then Ebay

I know of Bike Bandit and Dennis Kirk website any others?

So far i am really impressed of this bad boy machine goes throught the muskeg and goes through the mud.

Thanks Alot
Mike

if you are gonna replace the chain replace the sprockets as well. if you put a new chain on old sprockets the sprockets will start to loose teeth. chain and sprockets work themselves into a wear pattern to each other and if you put a new part on an old wear pattern(i.e. new chain on old sprockets) things start to break repeatedly.

to keep the rear hubs on get a mid strength thread locker and apply the day before you go riding so it has a chance to set up and get a secure hold on the threads and you shouldn't have anymore problems with wobbly hubs.

Try "Recycle" is Spruce Grove for parts or Snowmobile Heaven in Rimbey (843- 3654), the bargain finder paper(edmonton) also is a reasonable parts source.
